PaperCut is the print management software used by the School of Architecture to track, manage and secure printing in the school. Users are required to first install the PaperCut client before they are able to use SoA plotters. If you need additional assistance with its installation, please contact us.
Installation

- In the Windows Search field, type \\arcwright200w\client\win and press Enter.
- Enter your NetID and password if prompted.
- Double-click the client-local-install.exe file to start the install process. Click through the prompts until the installation is completed.
- Installation is complete when the PaperCut login window appears.
- Log in with your NetID and password. If successful, your PaperCut balance will appear in a window.
- To view more information about your printing account, click on Details in the PaperCut balance window.
- In the Windows Search field, type \\arcwright200w\client\win and press Enter.

- With a new Finder windows open, press Command+K
- In the Server Address field, type smb://arcwright200w.princeton.edu/client/mac and press Connect.
- Enter your NetID and password if prompted.
- Double-click the file client-local-install to start the install process. Click through the prompts until the installation is completed.
- Installation is complete when the PaperCut login window appears.
- Log in with your NetID and password. If successful, your PaperCut balance will appear in a window.
- To view more information about your printing account, click on Details in the PaperCut balance window.
How to Launch PaperCut on Startup
- Copy com.papercut.client to your desktop.

Open a Finder window and press Shift + Command + C and navigate to HD > Library > LaunchAgents.

Move com.papercut.client into LaunchAgents.
- With a new Finder windows open, press Command+K

- Enter your NetID and password in the PaperCut login window.
- After you hit Print, a second window will pop up. Select Charge to shared account using PIN / Code and enter the PIN for the account you are charging.
- Press Print to continue.
- Enter your NetID and password in the PaperCut login window.
