1. In the Windows Search field, type \\arcwright200w and press Enter.  

2. Enter your NetID and password if prompted.
    
3. Double-click on each printer to install.  

4. Ensure the printers are installed by navigating to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Printers.

1. With a new Finder windows open, press Command+K
    
2. In the Server Address field, type smb://arcwright200w.princeton.edu/client/mac and press Connect.
     

3. Enter your NetID and password if prompted.
    
4. Double-click the file Mac-OS-PostScript-5.0.2.5.dmg to run the installer. Click through the prompts until installation is complete.
   
   NOTE: Ensure not to miss this step. If you do, Plotter 1 will not be installed.
     
5. Copy the file SOA Printer Install.pkg on your Desktop.
   
   NOTE: If you recently upgraded to or are currently on MacOS Sonoma, delete any installed School of Architecture printer and copy the file SONOMA_ONLY_SOA_Printer_Install.pkg instead.  

7. Double-click the downloaded file to run the installer. Click through the prompts until installation is complete.
    
8. Ensure the printers are installed by navigating to System Preferences > Printers and Scanners.
    
9. Read MacOS - Special Notes below.

When you are printing for the first time, there will be a prompt asking you to enter your name and password for the printer you are printing to.

CAREFULLY enter your NetID for "Name:" and your Princeton University password for "Password:" Check the checkbox to remember the password.

Note that the system will not notify you if you enter the wrong credentials which can result in a "Hold for Authentication" error.

If you are getting a "Hold for Authentication" error message in the printer queue, press the curved arrow and you will receive the same prompt. Again, carefully enter your NetID and the correct password to continue printing.
 

Also note that Mac devices might take some time to connect to the printer before printing due to the security policies applied to the print server.
